CISF Eligibility Criteria 2025
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years as of August 1, 2025. Applicants born before August 2, 2002, or after August 1, 2007, are not eligible. However, age relaxation applies to certain categories:

CISF Selection Process 2025
The recruitment process involves multiple stages:
- Height Bar Test (HBT): Initial height screening.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male: 1.6 km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds.
- Female: 800 meters run in 4 minutes.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of height, weight, and chest (if applicable).
- Document Verification: Checking of original documents.
- Trade Test: Practical skill assessment (qualifying in nature).
- Written Examination:
- Mode: OMR-Based/Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Subjects: General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning, English/Hindi.
- Total Marks: 100 (No negative marking)
- Medical Examination: As per CISF guidelines.
