AAI Eligibility Criteria 2025
1. Educational Qualification & Experience
- Senior Assistant (Official Language): Master’s in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a subject at Graduation level OR equivalent qualification with relevant translation experience.
- Senior Assistant (Operations): Graduate with an LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) License; preference for Diploma holders in Management.
- Senior Assistant (Electronics): Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Radio Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Senior Assistant (Accounts): Graduate (preferably B.Com) with computer literacy in MS Office and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Junior Assistant (Fire Services):
- 10+3 Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire OR 12th pass (Regular Study).
- Driving License Requirement: Heavy Vehicle/Medium Vehicle/Light Motor Vehicle License (specific conditions apply).
2. Age Limit
- Maximum 30 years as of March 24, 2025.
- Age relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (additional relaxation for reserved categories)
- Ex-Servicemen & Ex-Agniveers: As per Govt. rules
- AAI employees: 10 years
AAI Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in multiple stages based on the post applied for:
- Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) (No negative marking)
- Skill/Physical Tests (if applicable)
- Computer Literacy Test (for relevant posts)
- Driving Test, Physical Measurement & Endurance Test (for Junior Assistant – Fire Services)

Salary & Benefits
- Senior Assistant (NE-06): ₹36,000 – 1,10,000
- Junior Assistant (NE-04): ₹31,000 – 92,000
