Assam Rifles Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be Indian citizens and must submit valid Domicile/Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) along with other category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) as applicable.
Educational Qualification & Age Limit
The educational qualifications and age limits vary according to the different trades. Here are some key positions:
- Religious Teacher: Graduation with Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi. (Age: 18-30 years)
- Radio Mechanic: 10th pass with a Diploma in relevant trade OR 12th pass with PCM (50% aggregate). (Age: 18-25 years)
- Pharmacist: 10+2 with a degree/diploma in Pharmacy. (Age: 20-25 years)
- X-Ray Assistant: 10+2 with a diploma in Radiology. (Age: 18-23 years)
- Various Tradesmen & Technicians: 10th pass with relevant ITI certificates. (Age: 18-23 years)

Assam Rifles Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of multiple stages:
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male: 5 km run in 24 minutes
- Female: 1.6 km run in 8 minutes 30 seconds
- Trade/Skill Test
- Written Test (100 marks; Qualifying marks: 35% (Gen/EWS), 33% (SC/ST/OBC))
- Medical Examination
- Final Merit List & Document Verification
Exam Centers
The PST/PET/Written Test will be conducted at Sukhovi, Nagaland. Candidates will receive updates regarding the examination schedule via SMS & Email.
Pay Scale & Allowances
Selected candidates will be entitled to salary and allowances as per Assam Rifles norms.
